Title
[D8736AAA], Letter from Samuel Insull to Thomas Alva Edison, January 13th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"We have your favor of the 11th. inst. ## No order has ever been entered for an municipal machine for Florida. Laboratory. We think it is a matter which Mr. Batchelor himself is conversant with. He is in New York, and as your Mr. Tate can get at him earlier than we can, we would suggest that he communicate with him immediately. ## We have hunted up the records on the shaft for the steam launch, but owing to a good many of our papers being disarranged, consequent upon moving our shops from New York, we have failed to get the dimensions. We think that Mr. Gilliland may have a record of this in some letter book. ## With relation to the pulleys you ask for it will be impossible for us to get them to you in time to catch Saturday's steamer. We will write you to-morrow stating when they can be shipped." Marginalia: "(not standard municipal)"
