Title
[D8736AAG], Letter from Samuel Insull to Charles Batchelor, February 14th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"In enclose you herewith a letter which we have received from Vail. This is by no means the first letter of its kind that we have received from him. I also enclose you a copy of my reply. I should very much like to have your comments on this subject. Of course I know that we make a dynamo the best we know how, but if there is any basis for Vail's complaints, I know that we would all be of one opinion as to an endeavor to eradicate same. If there is no basis for Vail's complaints, I think that we should take that stand absolutely. ## I also enclose you a letter which we have received from Mr. Andrews. It is written in reply to a letter which I sent him thanking him for pointing our some small defects made by some of Mulcay's men. The spirit of the two letters are so very different that I cannot help remarking on it." Enclosures: D8736AAH, D8736AAI, D8736AAJ.
