- Editor's Notes
- Enclosed with D8736AAG. Your very courteous letter of 4th recd with pleasure -- and I am very glad to learn that you are so rapidly re-organizing your forces and with such happy results. ## Under the circumstances, it is only a matter of surprise to me that the work you have been obligd to turn out during your 'transition state' should be as excellent as it is! ## I shall be pleased to take advantage of your permission to point out any defects in your machines that may come under my observation, for the pure & simple reason that I desire and hope for the time when all 'Edison' material may be above criticism! ## Thanking you for your invitation, of which I shall gladly avail myself when opportunity offers"
