Title
[D8736ACI], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, June 4th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"I have you favor of the 1st. inst. ## My business experience has always led me to the conclusion that the safest was in financing my affaits is to make sure of everything possible. What I complain of is that you expect me to surmise that so and so has been done. What I want you to do in these days of cheap telegraphic rates is to leave nothing to my imagination to inform me whether or not you have attended to any particular matter in hand, and so save me the trouble of either crediting you with a 'keen appreciation' or debiting you with absolute neglect."
