- Title
- [D8736AEE], Letter from Samuel Insull to John F Randolph, September 28th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- "Referring to your favor of the 22nd. inst., cannot you obtain for us from Batchelor, a statement of exactly how the oiled paper business is being run at Menlo Park? Who has got charge of it? What is his pay? How many men does he employ? What is the pay of each of these men? When material is required, are we supposed to send it to Menlo Park, or has Mr. Parish any authority to order it? We can of course send money to Mr. Parish direct each week if we only know what we have got to send. We have placed the bill of Vansiclen & Soper on our books." Marginalia by Charles Batchelor: "All right tell him you are going there & will make a report."
