Title
[D8736AEN], Letter from Philip Sidney Dyer to Samuel Insull, November 11th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"Will you kindly have the matter looked into regarding Mr Edison's contract with Mr. Biederman for Switzerland and see how far we a[-] co[------]d to recognize the present Swiss Co. who holds at present Mr Biederman's rights. Am doing no business with the Swiss Co. and see no prospects of any future business with them except in lamps. They do not cover the field in lamps, and I want to go into the Swiss territory direct. With Dynamos also if I could sell direct. I would do some advertising. ## The same things applies also to the Austria Co. who own the Edison patents for the English Colonies, kindly look into their contract and see if we can not work around them in some way. I am getting a lot of samples of the cord wire &c, and will send you over a batch soon."
