- [D8736AER], Letter from Samuel Insull to Thomas Alva Edison, November 18th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- "I have your letter this morning, about transformer. I also have Batchelor's telegram to-day, the latter being in reply to my letter, sent immediately after your telegram to me. ## From your letter received this morning, I gather that I am bidding on something entirely different to what you imagined I was going to bid on. I still hold the same opinion entirely, about the basis of our charges. Before I see Johnson with my bid on Monday, I want to see you, and I rather think I will go down to New York on Saturday or Sunday with that object."
