Editor's Notes

"The following resolution was adopted at the meeting of the Noard of Trustees held today, viz. ## 'That on and after September 1st. Next, all goods supplied to the United States Co. by the various shops, be furnished a, the prices now ruling, less the 20% allowed profit, except in the case of the Edison Machine works, which is to furnish the goods at cost of Manufacture and that in the event and when the profits of the United Co. paid to Bergmann & Co. and the Edison Lamp Co., shall have exceeded that which would be represented by the profit on their proportion of the business done by so much as their losses have exceeded their due proportion, then a re-apportionment of the interests of the respective shops in the United Co. shall be had on the basis of dividing the profits and losses in direct proportion of the business done'. ## A motion was then carried that this resolution lie on the table until the next meeting. The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held on Friday the 19th. inst. at 2 P.M."
