Editor's Notes
"Your favor of 12th inst. is received and contents noted. The freight on a ten light machine from here to Fort Myers, if shipped by all rail, will be about $14.00. While we do not wish to dictate to you as to what way you should ship this machine our candid opinion is that you will get it thro' fully as soon by having it shipped to New York and from thence with your next cargo, as you would by having it sent from here directly by rail. Awaiting your instructions, which will have our best attention, we remain ## P.S. Can furnish our New Saliry (?) H[---------] Burners (?) now, shall we send you the ones you ordered a year ago, but which were not sent" Marginalia by Alfred Ord Tate: "Mr. Gilliland: ## What do you wish in connection with the within? ## A.O.T." Enclosure: Advertisement for "The Combination Laboratory Burner" with a detailed description and image.
