Note hand-written on lined paper: :Extention of the time named in this contract is extended 1 year provided $1000-- is paid on account on or before Sept. 1st 1887" Telegram: " Royalties Due day 11th/87 $1000 ## 1st Year ## Concerning Apl 11th/86 -- 25 cents per ton for each ton mag. Iron ore until we alter vender $1000. 20 cents for each ton thereafter ## 2nd Year ## 20 cents -- until $2500 is paid -- then 15 cents ## 3rd yr -- 15 cents -- $3500 --- then 10 cents ## 4th yr 10 cents -- $5000 -- then 10 cents while amt is $5000 yearly"
