- "I had the pleasure to mail you, and the other 2 Patentees, to day, printed copies, of the Memorandum of association, of "the Railway Train Telegraphy Company, Limited", which was registered, in London, on the 11th inst. [D8752AAO] ## In it, you will see, that its primary object, is "To construct demonstrative Lines of Railway Train Telegraphs, with all necessary adjuncts, under Letters Patent, granted to Thomas A. Edison, Ezra T. Gilliland, and Lucius J. Phelps". ## You will also observe in it, that power is taken, to purchase, &c, Patents, and to increase the Capital, of the Company, to one million Pounds -- ## I shall have pleasure, in writing you further, on this matter, from time to time, as business progresses, and shall be obliged, by hearing from you, with any details, which may assist me, in furtherance of our mutual interest, herein -- ## P.S. I have also written by this mail, to the other 2 Patentees, a like letter, to this --"
