- Title
- [D8756AGE], Letter from Stratton Separator Co to Charles Batchelor, November 29th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead: Dry Steam] "Yours of the 28th instant is at hand. You must know that if we located that water gauge in the collecting chamber of the [unclear] then chances are over there, to give, that it would have been in the wrong place, as we had no information as to how you proposed to have the openings lead and it is highly desirable that the gauge be located on the side of the appraratus [unclear] to view. These are the only reasons why we shipped the [unclear] to you without driling or tapering the holes. Trusting they are satisfactory."
