[Letterhead: Celluloid Manufacturing Co.] "Your favor (of no date) is received. We can give you the transparent celluloid in sheets and rods, as you indicate, and the price would be $1.50 per pound. We would suggest, however, that, before ordering, it would be well for you to see our Mr. Lefferts as he has probably experimented in the same direction which you propose, and his experience might be of value to you."
