Title
[D8805AAO], Letter from George Frederick Barker to Thomas Alva Edison, February 6th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have just received a cable--given from Professor Dewar and Sir Frederick Bramwell as follows: 'Dewar and Bramwell despairing. Edison lecture approaching. Promised appatratus you used urgently wanted. Rouse Edison. Wellbram London.' As I have no idea what this is all about, I write at-once to you to know what I shall cable them in answer and what I can do to help them out of a difficulty. Has any appatratus been promised for a lecture at the Royal Institution? And what apparatus that I used does he refer to? Please write me at once and let tell me what is to be done. ### I have also written Johnson asking him if he knows anything about the matter."
