- Editor's Notes
- "We are endeavoring to collect for exhibition in the National Museum a series of instruments showing the history of the Telephone, graphophone, radiophone, and other similar instruments. I have thought it possible that you may be willing to place in the Museum models, and illustrations of your inventions. ### We already have in the Museum the first Morse telegraph machine the first model of the Whitney cotton-gin and other objects of this character. ### Should you feel disposed to comply with this request we shall be glad at any time to receive the instruments and to place them on exhibition with printed labels giving the essential facts connected with their history."
