Title
[D8805ACY2], Letter from William Preston Hix to Thomas Alva Edison, May 20th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Will you have the enclosed answered there seems to be no end to these letters and I had the notice put in three papers for one month one insertion each Sunday. ### C.C. Marieu [?] U.S. Agent of Chicago is flooding this city with circulars saying 'on the 16th the U.S. E. Co gained the suit over the lamp before Judge Wallace and speaks of the bombast + [unclear] work done by the Edison Co. of [unclear]. ### It makes it hard for me to get 35% for patents in the face of all this. I have written to Johnson for our explanation." TAE marg: "File Ore Milling" [!]
