Title
[D8805ADE], Letter from Charles E Burroughs to Thomas Alva Edison, May 1888
Editor's Notes
[Attaches two newspaper clippings] "Respy [?] ref to T.A.E. for full explanation + return of all papers with due bill for halls" A.S.B. ### Does the above strike you as a reminder of old times? When we used to be down stairs in 145 away back in the 60s? And Al Downer used to come around + talk 'Sunday school' to us + than go + talk religion with meek [unclear]. How did this [unclear] any way? Its no use to say it was sent that way for the original copy is very plain. Which was it a boy or a girl + why? Were you on duty when it occurred + if not why not? If it occurs again we shall have to take you off the wire."
