"For the last 3 years I have made it a speciality to collect and investigate the various minerals which abound in western North Carolina. ### Would be pleased to have you furnish me with a list of the various minerals you use in your establishment as I might be able to furnish many minerals you use [unclear] than you can get there in New York. Below I give list of some of the many varities I find and have on hand viz: [provides list] ### Will be please to hear from you. Refer to Dr. F.C.
