- Title
- [D8805AEZ], Letter from William H Eckert, Metropolitan Telephone and Telegraph Co to Thomas Alva Edison, July 26th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "Referring to your letter to me of June 20th. In reference to the inquiry from Paris about the Edison System, I beg to suggest that if you could have Mr. Krusie make a detailed description of the system and send the same to me I will then have a report made out of the working of the system in use by this Co. in New York, which is giving good satisfaction. If you could send me a small sample of the cable I would send it along with the report. ### I think Mr. Kruesi's report as to the kind and character of the cable would be satisfactory than if it were made out by me. ### I am sorry to trouble you but I think that a report as suggested above would be satisfactory to the French people."
