Title
[D8805AGE], Letter from William Henry Meadowcroft to Alfred Ord Tate, September 3rd, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have just come upstairs from the telephone where I have just asked you to send that MS. By express to my house 320 West 22nd. I ask this as I am going away for a few days. The idea was that Mr. Edison would give me his endorsement by letter; as without that the Youth's Companion people will not publish that for me. Mr. Upton told me that Mr. Edison had said he would give me such a letter, and I had so stated to the Youth's Companion people. ### Thanking you for the trouble you have taken in this matter I remain," Yours very truly, Wm H Meadowcroft ### "The following is about the form of letter:--## Dear Sir:-- I have read the MS. Of you’re a, B, C of Electricity" and find that the statements you have made therein correct. Your treatment of the subject, and arrangement of the matter have impressed me favorably."
