"Cant you and Mrs. Edison come to N.Y. and drive with us on Wednesday or Thursday next to meet our old friend Genl Beauregard. He leaves for New Orleans on Friday next and I would be very glad to have you both next [unclear] at [unclear] drive at 6:30.
