Title
[D8805AIH], Letter from Osgood S Wiley to Thomas Alva Edison, October 26th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have got my space at the Crystal Palace free of charge and as soon as I get my stuff Ishall go right to work. I think I can get the engine free for the advertisement any way Col G + Mr. Dredge are both helping me can you give me any idea when the gold separter will be ready + when I can have one here- There is a large field for it here there being several mines in Wales that Dredge has interests in- please advise me about this-As I cabled 'No Happer Magnet or Dynamo Came' it may be they are on the next steamer Thomas promised to look up the matter but it seems has not done so. Dredge is + my do all the can for us- he accompanied me to the Col's day before yesterday to see the phonograph he was simply amazed at it + has spoken in it. 'I consider this far superior to the Graphophone + articles more distinctly so you may see a good notice in Engineering about it- I just moved out here to Norwood so as to be near its palace meanwhile what service I can do for Col G while I await my stuff I will do." Yours respy, O.S. Wiley
