- Editor's Notes
- "I leave for West tonight. I asked once through your 'Private Secty' and once direct for the hours of an interview. ### I have lost or had stolen this week a Red Russia Pocket Photograph Album, containing the pictures of my Wife, children and a picture under which is subscribed. ### 'To my frined Wm. F. Brewster from Thos A. Edison, 1885' I suppose if found this album (which I think was lost in opening Valice [?] ore Hagotuck[?] Ry) will be returned to you. ### Will you do me the kindness to forward same to me Delafield Wis where I go for holidays. ### Should there have [unclear] reasons why Mr. Edison would not consider the endorsement of '85 ([unclear] affairs were not so promising) was not applicable in 1888, you may retain your own photo with indorsement." I am Truly yours, Brewster "P.S. I mean you can keep that photo if you should prefer me not to have it."
