- "The blue prints came all o.k. and I shall begin work Tuesday next. Could I get you to send me one each of those pictures of Edison and the phonograph also one of the laboratory--for my room--I don't know as it is any of my affair only I tell you confidentally there are queer rumors about Gourard. I have been told the Exhibitions given for "charity" he scoops I a good many pounds which go into his own pocket--This came from one of his own men. People here in London are laughing at him. I keep away from there altogether. I trust all are well and things moving along smoothly. Wishing you all a Happy New Year."
