Send tickets to Lathrop and say I cannot attend and kindly grant each my dinners.] The New York Press Club will give a banquet at Delmonico's Thursday, Feb 16th in honor of its newly elected President, John A. Cockerill. # The price of tickets will be $8 each and they will be issued only to members of the Club and gentlemen connected with the press or engaged in literary pursuits who are introduced by a member. # Tickets can be obtained by members from the Treasurer of the Committee, John C. Hennessy at the Club House. # Members desiring to invite friends must send application for tickets in writing addressed to the 'Invitation Committee,' giving name, address and occupation of the parties to whom they desire tickets issued, which application will be passed upon daily at 4:30. # The Committee have made a special arrangement with the famous restaurateur that will insure an exceptionally fine dinner, and the event promises to be one of rare interest.
