Title
[D8814AAC], Letter from P K Stern to Thomas Alva Edison, January 3rd, 1888
Editor's Notes
I called upon you last November. With my patent on an incandescent lamp I also spoke to you re a position in your lab. You told me were I to write you at the new year your lab would be in a better postion and you would probably have an opening for me. You wrote me to that effect on Nov [--]. I am a thorough electrician and conversant in all branches of electrical researches having worked practically and mechanically at the business for over 14? Years. # Much pleased to have the floor of an interview at an early date as I intend leaving for the West should nothing advantageous present itself shortly.
