- Twas I who called on you a month ago with the enclosed card. I told you I was in the Electrical Course of Lehigh University, and in speaking to you regarding employment when through my studies, you advised me to write later. # I completed my course of study June 21st. # Have worked three years at Toolmaking and Machinists Trade. # I have a keen appreciation of the value of an opportunity in your lab to a beginner and therefore seek the opportunity. # If you can give me employment or in any way assist one in securing employment I shall feel under obligation to you. I refer you to Prof H. [M-----] Harding. TAE marg: " I can give you a place as Expert on phonograph (ie) to learn all about phonograph and then take a position in some city; wages while learning $12, afterwards] $15 and higher if you paddle your canoe properly.
