Title
[D8814AEG], Letter from Charles Nicholaus Wurth to Thomas Alva Edison, October 7th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Friend Kreusi writes me to state what salary I want in case you would be kind enough to reengage me and I take liberty to write to you directly. I am paid here $150 per month but considering the fact that I should have to go through a kind of an apprenticeship again with you I shall be glad to continue for the same salary you paid me when I left you at Menlo Park; that is $100 per month provided that I should have steady employment and a chance to obtain soon a more remunerative position. My engagement with my present employers terminates December 31st but I have the option to leave any time at my convenience. TAE marg: "write to say he can come on and go to work"
