- Editor's Notes
- I can only confirm what I told you on Saturday, and as I unfortunately have been economical, it is of the utmost necessity that I should get a position as expeditiously as possible. # I will consider it a very great favor indeed if you will exert all your influence to get me something to do with the Edison Lab, Phonograph Works or in fact anywhere, where my services could be accepted. As you know of old, I am a worker, and will most suitably appreciate anything you can do for me. I desire only enough salary to keep myself and family going respectably and will rely upon my perserverence to get up higher later on. # If you can get me anything to do with your Cos I shall not forget the kindness.
