Editor's Notes
Yours a few days ago came to hand wherein I found a check for 50.00 dollars for which I cannot express per my most harty thanks. I have often thought since you have been [---] [---] of reading [---] history some time ago the many ups and downs you come in contact with but after all you have gained the victory. And may God bless you and [---] your years that we may see something more wonderful. My health is on the decline am confined to my bed [---] of the time I must do this in order to get strength for by [---] doing the [---] will rest and I have less pain in a reclining position my doctor says I must keep any quiet for some time or I can not stand the trip to WT. I hope I may soon be through wish this was [---] of trouble to [---] or rest. # May God [---] you for your kindness in helping me in this aweful [---] of trouble. # [---] may many blessings rest upon your dear wife and children.
