Title
[D8816AAS3], Letter from John H Kitchen to Thomas Alva Edison, September 14th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Tate wrote asking me to call and see S. O. Edison at 177 Broadway and make an appointment with the latter to go to your lab and see you in connection with some business matter, relating to the incorporation of a company. Yesterday evening upon receiving his letter I wrote Tate in your care at Orange, NJ, telling him that I would call upon Edison at 177 Broadway this morning. # This morning I called as requested at the address given me by Tate but was unable to find Edison. Some mistake has been made in sending the above, as Edison's address in NY. # If I can be of any service to you, I should be pleased to call on you at any time and place you name. I telegraphed you to this effect this morning. My telephone number is 499 John St. NYC.
