Title
[D8816AAX1], Letter from Laura Dingee (Mrs Frederick E.) Beardslee to Thomas Alva Edison, October 22nd, 1888
Editor's Notes
New name mention: Laura's son. I called today to see you and was disappointed. I have a splendid opportunity to get a house and I thought I would like a few boarders. Thereby making a nice home for myself and boy. But to do this I must have $100.00 more than what I have. I thought perhaps it would not make any difference with you if you gave it to me [---] or paid it weekly and it will be everything to me. I must thank you again for your kindness with kind regards.
