Title

[D8818AFC], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Edward Gouraud, February 27th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"I am in receipt of your letter of th 14th inst., in regard to "Polyform." The parties that advertise "Polyform" in America have no right to do the same in Europe. I do not wish to have my name associated with it and I will go to any length to prosecute anyone who does so.##Do not worry about the Gramophone. I have been informed that the Phonograph is by far superior. I will send you a machine that is ready for the market as I do not want to send you an experimental machine, which will not perform as well.##I have cabled you today that I am sending Sir Fred'k Bramwell photos, diagrams, and descriptions of several of my inventions.
