"I received your letter of Frebruary 20th informing me that I had been elected a trustee or the ensuing year and also a member of the Financial Committee." I have enough business to attend to and I do not wish to fill a position in name, so I must respectfully decline your offer.##If you wish to have the Machine Works represented on the Board, I would propose that Mr. Insull be appointed to fill my place.
