- "I have your letter of the 16th inst., and in regard to manufacturing lamps in Canada, I cannot say definitely what the intention of the Edison Lamp Co. is." The indications are they will go to Shorbrooke.##The Phonograph was finished yesterday and the model machine sent to the factory to turn out the commercial product, which Mr. Gilliland ordered. It would be advisable to remind Mr. Gilliland of the matter of Canadian agency. Let me know how negotiations with him progress.
