Title

[D8818AKL], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Electric Light Co of Philadelphia, William Dennis Marks, May 12th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"I have your letter 10th inst. I believe in Babcock boilers and 160 lbs. pressure; high speed engines, and good engineers with good pay. 1000 ampere machines, with a margin in them for three hours of 1200 amperes and extra 60 volts-that is, 140 volts to take care of future improvement in high resistance."
