Title
[D8818AOM], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Joseph H. Taft, July 3rd, 1888
Editor's Notes
I understand from your letter 2d instant that the contracts in relation to the phonograph buildings were filed at the County Clerk's office in Newark, but you make no mention of having filed a record of payments. TAE desires payments filed with the County Clerk, such action being necessary for our protection in case of failure on the part of the contractor to pay his sub-contracts or bills for material. Will you be good enough to attend to this.
