Title
[D8818AOQ], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Charles A Cowan, July 9th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Some time ago you gave me prices, as Sup't of Moore and Co., who are building our factory, for our engine bed and foundation. I want to have that foundation pushed as rapidly as possible, and want to know whether it can be done right away without interfering with the other work. My two boilers also want to be set and they will take 14,000 red brick and 2,700 fire brick. Can you give me a price for furnishing this material and also for labor on same? The contractor who furnishes our boiler will have to give the men instructions what to do. Please let me know whether you can furnish material and men for this at what price immediately, as I want to have the work done as quickly as possbile.
