Title

[D8818AOT], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Orange Water Works, Thomas Dowd, July 10th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"We have received your letter 6th instant and thank you for its information. The 6 inch pipe for us would have to be continued from the corner of Watchung Ave. and Alden St. 393 feet along Alden St. and ending with a 6 inch T at that point." Proceeds to ask whether he could contract the Orange Water Works to lay the pipe, or whether it would have to be done themselves, and what arrangements would be necessary for having it done. Then inquires whether they could charge local people for use of the water to make up for the costs of laying the pipe.
