Your letter 9th instant has come during TAE's absence in the West. I do not expect him back for about ten days. The North American Phonograph Co., with which Lippincott is connected, will control the phonograph in the United States and Canada only. All other territory is in the hands of Gouraud and TAE. I am sending Gouraud a copy of your letter, which I now acknowledge, and will give the original to TAE upon his return. # I enclose herewith a letter addressed to yourself which I received this morning from Gouraud.
