Title
[D8818ASL], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Charles Augustus Cheever, August 31st, 1888
Editor's Notes
Mr. Hatch [Rufus Hatch??] presented your letter 28th, inst; I have told him to come to the laboratory on Monday and we will educate him in the use and care of the phonograph. He should remain here for at least 10 days or two weeks, so as to become thoroughly posted as to the arrangements of the parts as well as the operation of the instument. You will then have a man whom you can rely upon in all cases of emergency.
