- Editor's Notes
- Insull, the former Secretary and Treasurer of the Edison Electric Light Co of Europe Ltd, has a claim against that Company amounting to $1200, for services rendered by him in his official capacity, and also for certain expenses incurred by him during the winter of 1883-4, at which time he went to Paris and Milan on behalf of the Company. TAE informs me that the amount Insull names--$1200--is correct and was promised him by TAE when the latter was President of the Edison E Lt Co of Europe Ltd. Insull is willing to accept a settlement in any way most convenient to this Company and will take bonds for the full amount. I should be glad to receive any suggestions. After hearing from you I can bring the matter before the Board of Directors.
