- [D8828AAY1], Letter from James Ricalton to Alfred Ord Tate, March 26th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "I have arrived at Aden--will be in Kandy Ceylon in 6 or 7 days. Decided to go to Kandy, Ceylon first-because I have learned that it abounds in bamboo, and a boat goes directly to that to that--place and it will consequently be much cheaper to go directly there than to make a special trip--fare the same to Colombo as to Bombay. Send, therefore, until further notice, communications to Kandy, Ceylon. ### Very hot--through the Red Sea--80 in our berths at night. Am well. ### Regards to Mr. Edison." Yours truly, Ricalton
