- "Replying to your kind offer of the 30th ult., would say that I want a circuit closer that will close circuit at each revolution of a wheel and break the circuit even though the wheel stopped suddenly. ### Thus the wheel revolves on the gas passes through the meter; and should gas flow thro' meter be stopped just as the circuit is closed the current to indicator would be continuous and use up battery. ### I tried to obviate thiswith a spring but did not succeed."
