- "I am in receipt of your letter of 24th inst. You misunderstood me when I wrote you in regard to the Palm wood. This wood is shipped at Man[unclear] and consigned to order shipped is Brocklehurst & Co. ### It is simply through my knowledge of Mr. Ricalton and his mission that I presuemd this wood to be yours. He has nothing whatever to do with it. Shall be glad to do as you wish--sned you a sample, provided it is accessable. Enclosed you will find bill for amt. of freight due."
