- "I enclose you a record of a test for Regulation just received from our Philadelphia Agents. ### Although when we are required to make a guarantee we never guarantee better than 2 per cent variation from full to no load, yet we generally do better than this, and in this case you will notice, very much better, as the variation seems to be less than one-third of one per cent:- but this is rather an exceptional case of close regulation and shows a very careful adjustment.-" I am Yours truly, Pardon Armington [Marginalia: " Say to A+ S we would like our Engine to do 1/10 [unclear] as well."]
