- "Ansewring your favor of the 14th inst. In regard to the statement of Mr. Edison's Contingert Account I beg to apologise for the delay in sending the same. It was made up immediately after your first letter was received, and I was under the impression that it had been forwarded to you. Enclosed please find it. ### A copy of the contract referred to by which the original amount placed to his credit is $60,000 he will no doubt have on file, if not you can see a copy by coming to this office."
