- Editor's Notes
- "I beg to say that the Light Co. has asked me to examine my various mem. for the purpose of seeing whether I can make an affadavit of what Mr. Howell, or any one, did in the autumn of 1881, with reference to maintaining the filament patent in Canada and manufacturing there. ### You may remember that I used to make you almost daily reports of what was done. Possibly those reports covered the months of October and November, 1881, but I am not sure. Will you kindly have an examination made, and if they do, let me know what, if anything, they say about this subject. ### Let me add that Mr. Dyer informs me that I should make my report on this matter without delay. May I, therefore, ask you to have the subject given early attention, and oblige,"
