Title
[D8830ACB], Letter from Sherburne Blake Eaton to Thomas Alva Edison, September 28th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I beg to say that the Light Co. has asked me to examine my various mem. for the purpose of seeing whether I can make an affadavit of what Mr. Howell, or any one, did in the autumn of 1881, with reference to maintaining the filament patent in Canada and manufacturing there. ### You may remember that I used to make you almost daily reports of what was done. Possibly those reports covered the months of October and November, 1881, but I am not sure. Will you kindly have an examination made, and if they do, let me know what, if anything, they say about this subject. ### Let me add that Mr. Dyer informs me that I should make my report on this matter without delay. May I, therefore, ask you to have the subject given early attention, and oblige,"
