Title
[D8833AAP2], Letter from Francis Robbins Upton to Thomas Alva Edison, February 25th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"We herewith enclose you a letter from Mr. Field, also one from Messrs. Leonard & Izard, of Chicago regarding the use of high volt lamps. We have brought about an understanding, that isolated plants should use as high volt lamps as possible. We shall be privileged to fill orders for isolated plants with high volt lamps, unless other lamps are specified in this order. ### We think that this will add to the capacity of the machines, and be of general benefit to the business. ### Kindly return the letters." TAE marg: "& prevent [unclear] from going for our Lamp [unclear]"
