- Can't take notes of Machine Works as you request b/c have no place to put them out. Re: your acct against Lamp Co. for exptl expenses, the Co. has an account against TAE. Won't be able to pay dividend before middle of month unless I ask you for a return of money. "We have a very heavy time of notes to meet the last of the month....." Sorry can't advance you money. Always want to help TAE when possible but we're under "very heavy strain and just making a [corner?] with not $5,000 to spare and approaching the season of the year when we have to lock up money in stock."
